More business headshots...with a twistHowdy folks, The portrait business is picking up! I'm happy to report and show you all the new material I've been working on this past month. It's been quite a hectic couple of weeks between fatherhood, full-time arts admin work, and photo shoots like this one. In continuation of my previous work last March, I was invited to capture another board member for Arts Midwest and a bunch of staff members decided to update their headshots as well. I made a mental note to take a few pictures of my BTS set-up but I forgot in the heat of the moment. Sorry! I will try and do better next time, I promise. In short, I used a three-light setup: a key light with an octobank light modifier positioned pretty much on axis with the camera above the subject, a hair light off camera right and back, a background light, and a reflector positioned just under the subject's torso.
